Finance Committee

The Finance Committee (“Committee”) is advisory in nature and serves at the pleasure of the Board of Directors (“Board”). The purpose of this Committee is to support the Virginia Oaks Association (“HOA” or “the Association”) on all matters pertaining to the finances of the Association. The Finance Committee is responsible for recommending and monitoring financial policies, goals and budgets that support the missions, values and strategic goals of the HOA. Committee members are not empowered to make final decisions on any matters, authorize the expenditure of funds, or speak on behalf of the community. These are actions that can only be taken by the Board.
